A Taste of this enjoyable book
There was a loud hiss before the coldness filled the room with a small breeze. Ivan appeared. He brushed his hands together before brushing off his clothes. “Good morning. I see you have furniture.” Ivan said as he walked around the house.
Mira smiled. “Yes, but you need to look at this.”
Ivan walked toward the stairs. “I would feel better if we could go up in the dark room; the sunlight is giving me a splitting headache.”
Mira laughed. “Yes, let’s go.” They raced upstairs to the dark room.
Ivan plopped on the bed. “Okay, that is better. What is up?”
Mira sat down beside him. “I am wondering what Todd is?”
Ivan laughed. “Ah! From what I read in that book last night,” he paused then smiled, “after all he is a male.”
Mira bumped him. “I know that. I mean he is strange. He stays up all night. There are no open curtains, and now this box from the Mystical Room.”
Ivan leaned back in shock. “Wh…at!”
Mira stood up and started pacing. “I am worried that he is a vampire hunter.”
Ivan hissed loudly leaped off the bed to hid behind Mira. “Oh! No! Or worst he is a mortal vampire.”
Mira turned around with so much anger on her face that Ivan hissed in fear. Mira stomped her foot. “No, I am supposed to have a normal life. Not killing vampires or hunters that want me dead.” She pouted for a moment before softly stating, “That was my past life.”
Mira raced from the dark room to her bedroom. She ran to the closet and started panicking looking for her weapons. Ivan quickly followed. “What are you looking for?” Ivan asked.
Mira snapped her head back toward the smirking Ivan. “I am looking for my weapons.” Her voice was deep and evil. Ivan stood up. “Well, I can see that you can take the vampire out of the dark side, but you can’t take the dark side out of the vampire.”
Mira stopped searching and yelled, “Ivan, shut up!”
Mira returned to her searching as she stated. “I am not leaving this house. I have been waiting for this for years.”

There's nothing I love to read more than a well written vamp book. Actually, I did enjoy the small taste the writter gave me. Very smooth not rushed and very descripted with a twist of ymm whats next. seems like the perfect recipe to me.
